Services

One-on-One Coaching

We are a team. We will work together to identify your goals and to plan a way to achieve them. I will not nag you. My goal is to help you make use of your abilities and strengths so that you feel drawn into accomplishing things instead of pressured into doing them.

Your sessions could focus on an upcoming complex project, stressful issues you face, or maybe some “small” everyday thing that constantly nags at you. Each session, we’ll take some time to review what you’ve achieved since our previous meeting — recognizing your accomplishments and collaborating on alternate ways of approaching your more elusive tasks — before driving further towards meeting your underlying goals.

Sessions usually take place once a week. Between sessions you are welcome to email me to let me know how something went or for support, you are also welcome to call me for a brief consultation.

Sessions usually take place over the phone, but I am also available to work with you in your home or office. Your Coaching Services can also be coupled with my Professional Organizing Services.

More information about individual coaching can be found here. Or contact Carrie today to schedule an appointment.

ADHD Coaching for Kids and Teens

A coach is able to partner with your child to help them identify realistic goals and help create strategies to enable your child to reach their goals. In order for a student to be have a positive coaching experience they must come to coaching with the desire to be coached. This desire coupled with the fact that the coach is not their parent or teacher enables the student to drop some of their guard and use the “safe” coaching environment to make positive strides towards learning new skills and improving themselves. Most kid and teen coaching is done one-on-one but group coaching is extremely effective as well. Please contact Carrie if you are interested in creating a group.

Focused Group Coaching

Focused Group Coaching sessions deliver many of the benefits of One-on-One coaching plus give you the benefit of support and insights from others in similar situations. What differentiates Focused Group Coaching from more general coaching groups is that everyone involved is focused on the same general goal; whether we are brainstorming solutions for your papers or for another member’s kitchen counter you will gain insight into your own situation. Group members collaborate and offer feedback on the difficulties they face. Working together will help you recognize your accomplishments and develop strategies to meet your goals. More information about focused group coaching can be found here.
